I really love the color combo here, it makes for a picture that feels really vibrant but a little discordant as well. I know this is perfectly in your style, and I LOVE your style, but if you're looking for some new ideas or input, I'd say you might be able to give your images like this a little more depth. Your redwinged bird has a really nice three-dimensional quality, but the section directly below the two birds flattens out dramatically, making it feel to me a bit like an optical illusion.
