Gotta agree with the Saxgrrrl. I'm not much of a poetry person, and none of the partition poems in the books really captured my attention, most of the time, but this one really sat with me and I often read it 2 or 3 times through every time I get to it. I think a lot of it is to do with the picture (who I've always interpreted as being the poet Brandy, no idea if that's true though!), because something about that posture is just full of the same quiet, carefree, resigned sort of emotion that the poem holds.
